On getting feedback from Citizens’ and feedback from employees the BOC has finally approved the Citizen Charter, the citizen interface points has been refereed in the citizen charter. Ward level meeting conducted to get the views of the citizens on desired time frame for various services delivered by the municipality, which is detailed in annex volume 3 as Citizens’ Feedback on the Service Delivery of the ULB. Reviewing the ward level citizens’ feedback and municipality’s ability to provide the services, the Citizen Charter published in the municipality. At present all the services are being delivered according to the stipulated time frame of citizen charter in general.
The municipality has also fixed time for various services as well as meeting with municipal officials which are detailed below:
2.2. Time Frame for Services – the Citizens Charter
The municipality provides the following services where they have direct interaction with their citizens: The citizen charter prepared by the municipality provides the ideal time frame required to perform the following municipal services. As has already been mentioned the municipality has a tremendous shortage of staffs as many sanctioned posts are vacant, with such shortage of staffs the municipality is providing the services but the services may get delayed due to this. With such apprehension, the BoC is not publishing the citizen charter.
